The way to reach us is email: [email protected]. There is no contact form, because a form would be the one part of this site that sends what you type to a server. Every message is read.

A figure or a rule looks wrong

This is the most useful email you can send us. Every result comes from rules we publish on the methodology page, so a disagreement can be traced to a specific step. To let us do that, please include:

• The address of the page you were using.
• The inputs you entered, or the "Copy link to this plan" link, which carries them.
• The figure you expected, and where it came from — a lender statement, your own sheet, another calculator.
• Why you think ours is wrong, if you have a view.

A plan link contains your figures. Send it only if you are happy for us to see them.

A tax or regulatory statement is out of date

Guides date every regulatory and tax claim. If one has changed, tell us which page and which statement, and cite the source — a regulator's circular, the statute, or an official notice, with its date. We correct and re-date rather than edit silently.

Privacy questions

What the site stores, and what reaches our server, is set out on the privacy page. If something there is unclear, or you think the site does something the page does not describe, write to the same address.

Press and partnerships

Journalists, publishers and anyone who would like to use or cite our calculators are welcome to write. Please say who you are, what you are working on, and any deadline.
