Loan and mortgage calculators
Every calculator here runs the same amortisation engine and shows its working. The figure at the top of each page is the last row of a schedule you can read month by month and download, so nothing is estimated a second way.
They differ in the question they answer first — what the instalment is, what a lump sum saves, whether to take the saving as a shorter loan or a lower payment, when the loan will be clear — and in the rules they apply. Indian home loans follow RBI rules on prepayment charges; UK mortgages carry overpayment allowances and early repayment charges.
